I have built off of a new kit a polish underfolder on a new 1.6 mill reciever...The gun runs just fine but every once in a while I have a stove pipe..Shell fails to eject and blocks the bolt open as it is trying to feed another round...Now all is clean on this gun and I was wondering as from other posts what would be the correct size for the ejector arm to be????/

I am having the same problem trying to figure out what is wrong with a friend of mines AMD-65. His does it about every 4th or 5th round. The ejector spring seems strong and manually it works fine. Let me know if you figure out the problem because I am scratching my head.

The ejector could be shaped wrong and be bouncing the shell inside the receiver or the carrier could be short
stroking and not kicking it out. I would run different loads through it and make sure the action is smooth before
modifying the ejector. you'll have to heat treat it if you weld on it at all as well. There are lots of posts on the
web as to what it should look like but I can't think of one that is so detailed it lists what shapes and lengths cause
what problems. Wish I could help more. If you can film the gun in action and catch it on film you will know. Also
some sort of markings inside the receiver may give you a clue.
The only way it could be off is if the trunnion was installed up, down, or forward of where it should be, not likely.
You would have to list the receiver man. and post picks, take measurements, for us to really help.

(Wayne1967 there is no ejector spring, you may be thinking of the extractor.)
