| Sometimes wont cycle the next round, sometimes when it does it grabs it barely then jams it torward the chamber it seems at the wrong angle. Sometimes it runs flawlessly. Tried different mags that didnt help. Mags seem to fit good no wobble. Just dont seem to put the roundup high enough. Any help? |
| There is one. Works just fine for a while then FTF, rack it then it feeds and goes on. Hate to send it back to Century. I noticed the bolt carrier raising up when it comes across the hammer, but I thought that was normal. Has anyone ever heard of one needing broken in? |

Read some of my posts about these guns! They are put together with used miss matched parts from old fully auto guns. Tear it apart and give it a good cleaning. Note the engraving on the parts my bet is none match like the old Chinese guns did from Norinco A remote problem could be the piston not cycling the action fully but it is remote. Check the gas piston and clean out the tube with some breakfree. Lube the gun and change ammo and mags if that dont fix her then send her back to Century. Give a variety of ammo a chance. If your using soft points sometimes they catch so try FMJ stuff. |
Come on, would you stop posting this in just about every thread you post in? Almost every AK currently sold in the US is a parts gun currently. This is nothing new to anyone on this forum. You aren't telling any of us anything we don't already know and it just makes you look the idiot. The vast majority of us that have bought rifles that are built from kits did in fact get totally matching parts in our rifles. It may just be that the parts kits are now running out and that some rifles will have mismatched parts. Please refrain from posting that statement anymore. If you have ever purchased an M1 Garand from the CMP you most likely received a rifle that has mismatched parts. This is because the rifles were rebuilt over time but it doesn't mean the rifle will be non-functional. Stop posting your fear mongering. |
| I, too, have the same problem with my new Yugo I just picked up. Weak ejection, will not chamber next round, and sometimes will eject empty case, and bolt will close on an empty chamber without even touching the next round in the mag! Upon noticing this, it is apparant that there is not enough pressure from the gas block on the piston. This is also confirmed by the fact that the bolt will not stay open on the last round with a bolt-hold-open magazine, it does not travel back far enough. It will chamber a round fine if I pull the bolt back manually and let go, bolt will also stay open on an empty mag if I pull it back and let go. Different mags didn't help. I ran a piece of 12 gauge bare wire thru the gas block port into the barrel, no obstructions. I have a WASR 10 that works flawlessly since day 1, its a bit frustrating to buy what you think is a higher quality rifle and find out it is bad. Any experts out there that have a solution? |
Maybe if you would have done 10 minutes of research before buying your gun you would know all the shit you are "educating" us on now. Your constant whining is seriously getting very very fucking old and I know I'm not the only person who thinks it. You should take a hint or get a clue. Every time I see a post by you it's you whining about how Century arms guns are made from used parts kits when this is shit that we've ALL known about and they have been doing for over 10 years. Seriously, give it a rest. |
