Hey all I bought an RPK and its a Romanian from Century. The top receiver cover will pop loose  from the front of the receiver when I cycle the action. This only happenes once  in a while. I really think it is short not enough lip on it. Century will fix it but it will be  4-6 weeks. Has any one else had this problem?  Where is a good place to get a  Top cover? Are all Top receiver covers interchangable?

K-VAR may have the covers.  They are pretty much interchangeable except for maybe the Yugo ones.  Try bending out the rear of the cover a bit with a screwdriver to hold it tighter.  You could build up the tang block some if you weld and cut the opening further forward as they may have installed it or the trunnion slighty out of spec.

Would this  cause any other problems? It does jam once in a while or double feed. I have tried  four different mags and if I put 29 rounds in a 30 its fine If I put 30  in the mag  it binds up(the action)
