I bought a Yugo M70 from Classic Arms, but it has a few problems.  The major problem is the safety works its way up and engages as your firing.  How would this be corrected?

Also, the rear sight is bent to the side.  What is the deal with that?  I am half tempted to call Classic and demand an exchange on there dime, but I thought I'd consult you all first.

What say thee?

You can bend the selector lever inward to increase the tension.  Can you post pictures of the sight?  Is it the leaf sight that is actually bent or is the rear sight block canted?  If the sight leaf is just not level you can try to bend the spring up under it or look at the sight block and see if it is higher a bit on one side or another and attempt to level it out.  Otherwise you may have to return it to Century for repair if Classic won't replace it.

I actually called Classic and they are replacing it.  I will let you know what the new one looks like.  The other Yugo I have from them is beautifuly and functions 100%.

Good call, whenever you have a manufacture go to them so you don't void warranties or guarantees.  Otherwise there are fixes for the problems you mentioned, but it is their problem now.
