Is the BCG the same in the F/A AK's as it is in the Semi's?

It depends.

Yes.  Bolt and carrier is the BCG.  AKs built from imported demilled kits have no modifications to the bolt and carrier.  The parts are used as is, as are the trigger, disconnector and hammer if they are used in the build with other US compliance parts being used.  The only difference is the auto sear and hammer retarder parts are not used and there is no 3rd hole in the receiver to install the auto sear.

No. On a commercially sold AK the auto sear trip may have been removed from the bolt carrier as shown in the picture.

Ok so the question I should of asked if everything is compliant US parts wise, is it legal to use the FA BCG in a semi gun?  I know its ok for a AR bu have no idea about the AK.
