What's needed?  Declaration?  Average cost?  Say 1000 rounds of 5.45?  Say 4000 rounds of 5.45?

Recommend any certain trouble free carriers.
Thanks

It's not clear what you are asking.  Are you buying or selling?

1080 spam cans of 5.45x39 range from about $120 - $150
Some places require a copy of your ID to ensure you're old enough to buy it.

I've had better luck with FedEx ground than anybody else.  They usually have better pricing than UPS ground (most of the time) and they destroy far fewer packages compared to UPS.

For price quotes, meausre your package dimensions, weight and find your buyers zip code.  Armed with that information, you can get exact prices before you ship.  www.fedex.com  www.usps.com www.ups.com

Box needs to be labeled with ORM-D small arms ammunition.  I think that the outside ORM-D label is required by all carriers.

Go to the top of the EE section under Ammunition. There is a tacked thread about how to ship ammo.
