As said, Armalite makes the AR-180B. The differences are that the 180B has a plastic as opposed to stamped lower that accepts AR-15 magazines (as opposed to the original 180's proprietary magazines) and the stock on the 180B does not fold. Also, I don't think the 180B's have bayo lugs. The newer ones do have threaded muzzles though. My friend had a 180B and I LOVED it. I should have bought it from him. I'm still thinking about getting one myself, or maybe an original. BTW, the plastic AR-15 magazines Sigarms are currently selling have a mag catch for the original '180 in them. |
