I received this as a gift today.

I really like the rifle, but was wondering what do you have to do to attach the sling to the rear of the rifle?

Real AMD-65s have a sling swivel riveted/welded <???> at the rear of the receiver. Seems like most US kit built AMDs don't.....

Most guys drill & tap a sling stud on the left side of the receiver at the rear, between the two rounded studs.

Call CAI they can send you the little piece of metal that fits in the holes.
