This is down in San Antonio. Had a great time, first time I've ever really had a change to shoot rapidly with no stupid nazi ROs to deal with.

My buddy DID try to get me to shoot a buzzard that was about 150 yards off. I didn't do it though

The Love Commie-Capitalist triangle, or how to Keep your rifle's muzzle out of the dirt so as to avoid a KB.

Friend's ar15. Standard A2 m4 style rifle.

My Favorite gun, built by our very own Duke Nukem. The twice-built AK . It works great and I'm happy.

My Chinese SKS. Great gun, always 100% no matter what I feed it.

How to safely temporarily store a rifle while at the range

How I stored the AK (SKS was under the bed)

Waiting for the video to be 'approved' by youtube.

Nice stuff. If you get a chance I'd really like to see some close up pics of the blonde wood on the Romy. Looks like it has some nice grain.

And you have an awfully purdy yellow shooting bonnet there hanging on the gunrack. Matches the blonde wood real well.

Cheers,

Careful about stackin' them that way, your friend's AR could get pregnant with a Daewoo K1 or an FNC.

How the hell did you get the bolt to stick right there?  Usually they stick at the back if you pull them up into the disassembly notch, but you've got it stuck in the middle.  Did you get it to sit on top of the hammer just so?

All my "newly-built" AK's will do that if you ride the bolt forward.  The carrier gets hung on the hammer.  A few thousand rounds down the tube will eliminate that "feature."  :)

Mine always tended to stick right there. I'm pretty sure after some more range time and ammo (FMJ) it'll get in sync.

Oh, and I'm not sure if you sighted it in duke but if you did you must have a neck like those african women who stick rings around their necks to make them longer. I'm aiming a good distance down from a target to hit it Missouri windage!

I'll take some better pics when I get home. I'm chillin' in arlington right now, I only have the SKS here.

I'm sort of not digging the forward handgrip, so I might see about getting a normal AKM handguard and refinishing it to be blonde. I'm also trying to find a red romanian US made pistol grip to make it look more authentic.
