Where can I get replacement wood furnature. Like Oak furnature or something nicer than the wood that came with my WASR Heck, I have lost of scrap 1x4 & 1x6 white oak, I'll bond them together and make the pieces if I have to (as long as someone has a full size template.) Hardwarz |

You can refinish your current furniture and make it look pretty damn nice. It will never be as nice as Ironwood stuff, but it will cost you nothing more than the refinishing materials. I see no reason to put a beautiful $100 stock set on a basically bottom end rifle. The thing you'll find is that some WASR's come with different types of wood IE: Buttstock, upper HG and lower HG are all made from different types of wood. When your finished product is done, you will see differences in all the parts. At any rate, these parts can look damn nice when refinished. I am in process of doing the ones from my non-functional WASR-2 right now. After Saturday I will be buffing and putting on the final layer of tung oil. You'd be amazed when they are done... you wouldn't even think that it's the same wood that came on the gun. |

Refinish your stockset. Ironwood designs or you can call Dan at Volunteer Ordnance Works and see if he has any in stock. A couple I did.
