Is $540 and OK price on a vector AK with a fixed stock.  I know they are available for a couple of bucks less online, but by the time you add in shipping and a transfer fee, you are going pretty damn close to $540.  What do you think, is it a total rip off or an acceptable price.

Atlantic has them for $499 plus $25 shipping but offers a discount for AR15 members but then you have transfer fee. I would barter with dealer, telll him to throw in an extra mag or couple boxes of ammo and he has a deal.

I think it's an acceptable price.  Is tax added to the $540.00 or is that "out-the-door?"

Tax was extra. I bought it.  Not "deal of the century", I couldn't find anythign that was going to offer me a signifcant enough discount to justify not being able to see it before I bought it.

I'd make sure Atlantic has them... When I ordered my Vector (from Vector) they were raising the prices by about $20... Atlantic has the same price posted as before the price increase. I am really impressed by my Vector, for the money.
