ok, some may know my brief history with ace. long story short i've delt with them twice, 1st time 100% satisfied-2nd no part ever came but no money lost. i swore them off.

....and now i see they are making the ace folder aith no-mod receiver block. i want one, so should i table up and eat crow, or just buy ammo instead?

D@MniT what to do

the stock would be for my mak90. ispent a good bit to modify it to it's current state. if i put the ace stock on it i'd have aprox $750 in it.

anyone with pics of the new no-mod folder please post.

thanx

I think the stock is worth eating crow over. Just order online. You don't have to talk to them. I really, really like my ACE stock. GET THE STOCK!!!

I don't have the new no mod but here is my old "Cut da' tang" stock.

$165 for a AK stock? I thought AK's didn't cost that much for the whole gun.

The ACE stocks are definitely a nice thing to have. I find mine very comfortable to shoot with. Well worth the money. I did opt to use the internal receiver block too.

yalls stocks look great and i been lustin' one since i started swappin' parts on my mak.

the ace site doesn't show a no-mod folded. i bet it hangs out the rear a bit.

i have to see one folded before i buy one, i don't want an akward compromise.

here is a pick of my mak90.

i got rid of my underfolder ,so out of necesity, this rifle must fold < the logic i'm using against my better half.

thanx for the replies

If you're going to go ACE, get the "cut the tang". The no-mod one is .

Imagine a block sticking out about 1 1/2" from the rear of your receiver. Then you have the folding mechanism on top of that. Unsightly. As a couple have said, and as I prefer, cut the tang and go with the internal receiver block.

Cut the tang is the one to have. I like mine on my Mak 90. I don't like how wide it is when folded.

i think its the mid length one, i ordered it from dsarm.com and they didnt seem to know what i was talking about the different lengths. but in the end it seems to be ok(i would rather have the shortest one).

The short stock is closest to original length. I like short stocks on my rifles. Just more comfortable to me.
