| does hr922 apply to ak's? the law that states you have to have 10 or more us made items on a c&r weapon? i'm thinking about picking up a wasr-10, but i HATE the wood furniture. going to want to replace it with a collapsable stock, quad rail hand guards, some us made mags, but i need to know what else is easily applied to the ak if hr922 does apply. |

yes it does apply. just to be clear it is 922(r) and doesn't specifically deal with C&R guns thogh some can be effected by it. hr922 suggests a new bill from the house of representatives numbered 922...we don't need any new bills from the likes of them  for parts on a stamped AK the most common compliance parts are Fire control group (counts as 3 parts) muzzle device receiver pistol grip stock handguards gas piston there are others, but those are the most common. finally, WASR-10s are already 922(r) compliant |
