has anyone try the AK receivers from NoDak Spud? I'm thinking of getting the NDS-2 for a project and it looks like the one I need. are they any good?

NoDak Spud receivers are some of the best out there. The definition of "good" really doesn't do it justice. They are excellent

I'll echo the excellent comments as well...they are great people to deal with for sure!!
Not to mention you get free custom serial numbers and now they are offering more authentic selector markings for $30 as well!

The only better receiver would be the original. I have built many AK kits and the DCI receivers are the way to go if you value your build. Its a plug and play type of deal with a rock solid reputation. You can't ask for much more other than cheaper ammo.
