I need a rifle that fires 7.62x39 blanks.

I've been looking for a blank fire adapter for an AK47 or even an SKS...  Alas, no luck.  If there are any out there, are there certain versions that will take a blank adapter, which has the most prevalent blank adapter? which one works the best? the cheapest?

Any major supplier of milsurp will have a blank firing attachment which will work on any AK with a barrel that's threaded. Check KVar, CTD, Centerfire or any of a dozen or so other suppliers.

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone know if using a BFA will allow the rifle to cycle in semi-auto mode? (or FA)

Your gun loves gas.

The BFA is used to make sure that the rifle cycles when using blanks.  If you fired a blank without a BFA, the weapon will not eject the spent casing or cycle the next round onto the boltface.
It basically (safely) obstructs the barrel just enough to make sure the gas tube gets what it needs to cycle the weapon normally.

So I gotta ask...why do so many people by BFA's...or use blanks and where can I get some...blanks that is?

I would think in a way there would be some fun factor to it but I was just wondering why everyone else is getting them?

Because real ammo is expensive? I don't know. It just sounds like the fun factor.

That's why I'm guessing too....it would be fun to go shoot off some blanks on the Fourth or something

I've been given permission to use them at work with OPFOR guns to simulate fire from a typical enemy rifle.  It was a hassle, like trying to get permission from Jesus himself... it'll be worth it though.

That's why I need a BFA.

I stay so far away from them usually, never even thought to look.  Thanks, ordered 4.
