I have been hearing allot of problems with these rifles. Sure I hear some good stuff but thats after sending it to a gunsmith. Does every one of these guns that come out have a problem? Tight rails,Wide scope rails,Improper flash hider out of alignment,Jamming and a ton of other things.

Do any of these make it to the owner ready to shoot with no jamming problems? I just got one a few weeks ago but the finnish was peeling off and I returned to the seller to refinnish. So I have yet to shoot. Like I asked do all these rifles have problems or only just a few here and there.

I have heard maybe 5 people say the gun was great to shoot with little to no jamming out of the box. This is out of maybe 80 people I have read threads and chatted with.

Most of this is coming negatives about TG. Sadly thats the PSL I got a kit built from TG arnt all legal PSLs in america kit built guns?

Well, yes and no. Most of them work fine, mine does execpt with one (just one so far) type of ammo. With anything else, it runs as reliably as any AK I know, meaning 100%.

Tight rails,Wide scope rails,Improper flash hider out of alignment,Jamming and a ton of other things.

The scope's clamp can be adjusted to allow for varying rail widths. I don't see how the the muzzle break could be out of alignment, as they're pinned to the FSB. I don't think the Romanians want folks removing them and putting them back on a different way because it could shift POI. As for jamming, yes, that does occur time to time with these rifles. Try a different type of ammo if you can. Mine dosen't like Polish light ball from 1986. Don't know why. It has something to do with the way the rounds stack in the magazine. With any other type of ammo, I can push the rounds out with ease with my finger. But with the Polish ammo, it dosen't want to budge and and when it does, the rim of the round I just removed will have gouged a big groove in the case of the round below it. Can't figure it out. It likes older Polish ammo, it likes Hugarian ammo, Wolf 148 gr too, all of which have copper washed cases, so I don't think it's the copper washed case causing more friction than laquered or brass cases.

Finish (or lack thereof!)? Welcome to Romanian guns. WASRs, PSLs, dosen't matter. They look like shit. Always. Even my Romanian TT-33 pistol has the same half assed, barely there phosphate + light surface rust finish. The best Romanian guns I've seen look worse than the worse Bulgarian, Chinese, or Russian guns I've seen. They can be dura/gun/moly coated if you desire, I intend to do that with mine. If you consider finish, then yes, all of these guns probably do have problems, but finish dosen't matter to some folks so they don't even consider it a problem. No, not all of them have functional problems.

I don't think there's any law preventing the PSL from being imported whole, and there are lots of all-Romanain PSLs out there. They only hold 10 rounds, have no pistol grip, no flash hider, and most of the Romanian built guns in the US never had the bayonet ring attached. Mine is a US kit build and it works great except with the '86 Polish ammo. The ejector is quite peened though.

Hope that helps.

ETA: If yours is jamming, after you load the mag, smack the top of the mag into the palm of youR hand a couple of times. This will seat the rounds better and allow more reliable feeding. If I do this, it seems even the Polish stuff it dosen't like will feed most of the time. I don't have to do this with other types to get it to feed right.

I guess I'm number 6.  I got my TG PSL from SOG and it hasn't had any type of "jamming" problems. Mines been chewing up the Czech silvertip light ball.  The only problem I have is that the cases eject and land at least 25 feet away, I just have to be careful about where I park my Jeep.

The finish (spelled correctly) on the furniture looks like it was dipped instead of sprayed on but that's what you get for $599 NIB.  You can always spend over $2000 for a Dragunov or hold your breath for a SSG-97 from Interordnance, you make the choice.  I took a chance and I'm happy.

There was a batch of rec a few yeas ago where the side rail was to F-ing fat, and I just replaced mine as part of the build. Otherwise easy and ran 100%.

Not trying to get in a fight with you or anything but you must have not been on the internet long. People type and spell far worse than me and most average people can understand it.

It might not be good but its good enough for me. Why give %100 when you can get by with 50

I'm sorry I replied to your question with the attitude you have,  What internet forums do you belong to, do they all speak hillbilly?  You may have been clubbing away at your keyboard for a whlie but you just joined this forum last month.

There is a wealth of information to be had here and you are not making any friends.  You'll get 0% replies from most.

Sorry to the rest of the posters and admins here.  It just riles me when you try to help a  NOOB and you get a response like that.
