Another newb question; How much of a difference in overall quality (if any) is there between the Tantals (complete rifle - not a build it yourself kit) offered by Atlantic Firearms (Armory USA receiver), Krebs (also Armory USA receiver), & Arms of America (Omega 74 receiver - with "proper" safety on the left side) ? Prices vary - Atlantic $599, Krebs $1000, & Arms of America $650...If anyone has any info - please post! |
| Krebs does have a rep for superior work and if you read the description: "Immaculate furniture, accurately made US muzzle brake, Armory USA receiver, 2-stage trigger, correct safety positioning, original parts from armory-dismantled kits", you get a 2 stage trigger and I believe they locate the safety on the left as on the original so you can operate the safety with you right thumb; a significant difference. You should call them to confirm. |

The lever on the left side of Tantal is not a safety lever ... it is a selector lever for: P - pojedynczy ... single S - serialny ... burst (3) C - ciagly ... auto In the case of civilian version of Tantal, it is installed for authentic look only. It is non-functional. |
