Okay, Maadi's are stamped receivers, correct? So I ordered the stamped receiver stock kit from KVAR. It needs to go inside the receiver and apparently takes a cross-bolt, not the screws from the top. The receiver I'm looking at has a plate across the rear of it. Is this not a stamped receiver? What type of receiver would it be? The receiver takes double stack mags, and the new US FCG went in without any trouble. It's a low SN CAI build, were the monkeys on crack? The butthole stock only had the two top screws through the tang and the pistol grip screw. The pistol grip screw is of course too short for the KVAR grip! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. Oh ya, I'm an AR guy so I admittedly really don't know what I'm doing. I thought from the Ironwood Designs stock desriptions that all the Egyptian receivers would be pretty much the same. This is what I get for forsaking the True Path as God gave it to Eugene Stoner  Thanks for the help. Steve |
