just picked up my first ak, took it to the gravel pit with my bro and blasted away for the morning. Had a great time. Its alot more fun than the sks, Seems more accurate, but it might have just been I was trying harder.. bulgarian underfolder, tapco trigger stuff, ITM reciever. $250. Mwahahahahaha. Anyway, my question is what handguard should I get? Is it possible to put the extended handguards that the vepr and saiga have on a standard bulgarian? Anyone have a suggestion? I'm not a fan of wood, so I'm looking for an OD or black type. Tapco looks ok, but I'm not a fan of the galil style. Also looking at mags. Anyone suggest a reliable 30 rounder? I like the idea of the semi-clear tapco ones so you can see how many you have left. Anyone used those? reviews? I have a couple norinco 5 rounders that jam constantly, a 20 rounder that works fine anda 30 rounder that works fine. Last of all, the metal bars of the stock kinda punch your cheek when it shoots.. is there anything to do about this? I was thinking maybe wrap them in paracord or something... (I'm a lefty, I think normally the muzzle break would push away, but from the right side it pushes in.) Thanks for your time |
