I'm thinking of getting a 16 inch varmint upper. I had been looking for a deal on a Bushmaster V match 16" carbine upper but cant find any.
I ran across this company here in Texas that has similar uppers;

Anyone ever purchased their products? Is their quality up to snuff?

I've bought from them and will continue to do so.

They've had quality issues in the past but have improved a lot in the past several years. Responsive to their customers.

Someone here just complained about them but he ordered the wrong item and was mad when it showed up.

If I was in the market for such an upper, I'd buy that upper from them.

LOL ... yeah, you done wandered onto the wrong side of the tracks!

BUUUT, I just happen to have bought a 16" Bushy upper myself recently, and can recommend these guys: www.pkfirearms.com/store/start.aspx

They did me right.

Good luck ... come back and see us sometime!

A better choice would be Del-Ton for your uppers.I've heard mixed reviews of Model1 stuff. I've bought from Del-Ton and Adco and was happy.
Now back to the gas impingement side with you.

You'd have just got a ration of shit if you woulda posted it in the ar forum. They've heard the question hundreds of time. It usually ends up in a pissing match. Some folks like 'em, some folks don't.

I have a model 1- 7 1/2" pistol upper and so far I have no problems with me. My advice is if you are in a hurry to build, call them and ask if the item is in stock. When I bought mine, the barrels weren't currently in stock and they didn't volunteer that information. I think they have a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy.
