Is there a spring kit available, maybe some polishing or something to make it a little better?

You might also consider just spending $35 and buying a new Tapco US made G2 FCG. I've installed 5 sets of them and gotten a great, smooth trigger pull without having to polish anything.

This is by far the easiest fix and if you qualify for Brownells special pricing they are $25 a set.

I bought a tapco and didnt like the pull, But I didnt polish allt hey showed in that pic. I polished the underside of the "Hooks" and the area where they hook. using a dremel, with a small wire brush then a polishing head and compound, basically where they show in the thread aboce, But I only polished theareas in the  top and 3rd pic. To a mirrorlike finish....ats actually almost too smooth for a combat rifle, But on my .308 VEPR, with a 2 stage trigger...Its tooo f*&king sweet

I have TAPCO G2 FCG, RSA, Arsenal and some US FCG that I have know idea what it is but linx310's fix will even make a Century FCG a workable FCG.  If you polish a TAPCO G2 the trigger pull and letoff can be as smooth as glass.  Just make sure you are polishing and not grinding as you may ruin the heat treating and make the FCG soft .
