[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Yugo Cover lock...... help needed.

Fellas,

Looking at my Yugo kit.....the button above my UF pin and just beside the top rear trunnion rivet is staked on.

How are you guys getting that part removed from your kits??? It just spins when I try to unscrew the little nut on the right side of the receiver.

I pushed the button out enough to get a pair of small vice grips on one end, then use a split screw driver, or another set of vice grips to unscrew the nut.

Yep....that worked....seems like the nut is pretty soft metal....came right off.
