| I have recently examined two SSR85C2's in a local gun store. These AKs came from different shipments. The quality was poor and that is being generous with the description. Both rifles had large surface abrasions on the receivers. They both appeared to have been shot and then not cleaned. The mags were lousy to poor. I own a SSR85C2 and the rifle appeared new when received but mag were lousy. I like the rifle and it shoots well. I have some problems with some of my mags fitting in the mag well. What happened to Armory's quality control????hinking.gif |

Well, they have always had some issues. Now they don't answer the phone or log in on any gunboards where they have moderated forums. I myself would not buy one of their rifles currently. I wonder if they will exist once Arsenal Inc get the long awaited stamped receivered rifles out. |
I agreed with Mak, They have no CS and forget about leaving a message or email because they won't reply. It took them 6 weeks to repair my new rifle and they didn't fix the problem. I had it with their crap and took it to a gunsmith. Buyer beware! These guys are assholes and I hope Arsenal will put them out of business by the end of the year. Jimmy Streetman is full of shit when he told me CS are his priority.

| I just bought my SSR-85c2 a few months ago and I've had no major problems with it. One round out of a thousand I've put through it didn't go bang but I was shooting Wolf so it was probably the ammo and not the gun. The only gripe I have about it is the finish kinda sucks. I'll probably sell it if I ever get around to finishing my build. |
