I recently asked about info on this company and received mainly bad info. Still they seemed to be the only company left in the US with original Bulgarian krinkov parts kit in 7.62 x39 for $1,000.00. What does one do if your registared AK-47 machine gun needs a face lift and you want the Bulg kit and feel the company is iffy?????? Charge the 1k, don't tell the wife and hope for the best. Thats what I did and I have to say with in 6 business days the kit came Fed Ex. I opened the box 100% what I ordered and wanted. Now sending the gun and kit to In Range for the swap. Hey I purchased the AK back in 1990 for $1600.00 so thats that. I will post pics once returned.

I ordered a couple of things from them a few years ago and did receive both items... but I only got them after weeks of emailing them asking where my items were. The first time I figured it was a legitimate mistake, but after the 2nd time, I decided not to deal with them anymore. After reading some other peoples horror stories, I consider myself lucky. Glad you got your stuff okay!

I think they do most of their busniess by drop shipping.  Like they don't stock anything really, when you order your stuff from them, they order it from their suppliers and have it shipped straight to you.  Its not the best way to do business but it can work out ok.

I got an SW5 rec from FGW years ago.  It was a great experience.  First I emailed them to ask if it was in stock.. it wasn't.  A few weeks pass and out of no where I get a call from them saying they got 1 rec in stock and were giving me first dibs on it.  I didn't even ask them to do that, it was all on their own.  So I said hell yeah and a week later the rec was at my dealer waiting for me.

I don't think I'd buy anything else from them though unless I had no other choice, too many horror stories out there.

Wow, I would think $1000 for a Bulgarian Krink kit is expensive.  Does K-Var not offer the kit that you want?  I've had good business dealings with K-Var.

You def. dont want to get involved with them. I ordered a claw mount for my ptr91. they sent me an airsoft claw mount (tokyo mauri to be exact). and this was after weeks and weeks of hounding them. I got ahold of them only after threatening to go after them for fraud. i complained about the mount and they said nobody else has complained and that was it. stay away from those s.o.bs.

Run away.
I hated my experience w/ them and wouldn't recommend them to the enemy.

Their Bulgarian 7.62X39 kits (if there are even any left) have a couple of parts missing.  Once you add them, you are getting a little closer to the $1000 that FGW charges.

I still chickened out of buying from FGW and got a Krink M92 kit and bought a Russian side-folder stock.  Sort of the "poor-man's" Bulgarian side-folder.

K-Var is great though.  I order something from them every couple of months.

har1340, you'll have to post pics of the finished product.  That's going to be one bad-ass machine gun.

Oh yeah, I do see the 7.62X39 is out of stock.  Sorry for not paying attention.

I got big time screwed by them about three years ago. It took endless emails, complaints to the Florida AG and a VERY long post on this very website to get my money back. The item I got screwed on was M14 mags.

They just moved into a new wharehouse so things should go smoother now.

I've purchased three times.  Once a case of ammo, once a Kobra sight, and last time some H&K parts.  All three transactions were smooth as silk.
