Can anyone answer the question why these are no sold in the states, and that those that are are over a grand? Why so inexpensive in Canada?

Because Canada doesn't have an import ban. Who cares if they are cheap there they can only hold 5 rounds.

The ad says they come with (5) 30 round mags. And if theres no import ban then why can Canadians not own AK47s?

They banned AK47s by the name I think.

1x 10/5 rnd. magazine
2x 30/5 rnd. magazine

It states that it comes with 1 10 round mag that holds 5 and 2 30 round mags that hold 5.

Strange laws in Canada. I have friends there of whom all are big on airguns and conversions and modding. They can have SKS(with 10rnd pinned mags) and SBR AR15s with high capacity mags. Some special permits you need to be approved and pay for called the PAL.
