I ordered a polytech stock from polytechparts.com for my polytech "caught on the pier" mak90.  The stock came with screw holes already in it meaning it prolly came off one of the kengs guns with thumbhole stocks that were "caught on the pier".

Do i need to fit the new stock to my gun?  It slides in about half way.  I'm afraid to start pounding cause i'm scared it'll get stuck and not go all the way in then i'll have a helluva time getting it out to fit it.  On the other hand if it has screw holes in it already, most likely it was on a rifle at some point in time.

If you added to your chinese gun did you have to fit it?

Thanks,

Stone

Could be age and minor wood warp that's easy to cure, could be a slant cut vs straight cut issue, or..

You may just need to sand the sides down a touch.

I had to use a dremel to fit a k-var synthetic to my MAK 90.  Fits like a glove now
