[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which handguards

Hello, I have a Vector AK with poly handguards and would like to put wooden handguards on it, will any of the handguards fit or do I need a set from a certain AK?

Also, I bought the underfolder, looks cool, but not really comfortable to shoot, what would I have to do to put a wood stock on it?

Any Euro handguards with the exception of Yugo should fit. Adding a fixed stock to an unfolder is not really an option unless you don't mind having big ugly holes in your receiver.

Don't want big ugly holes. Guess I'll stick with the folder. I'm not sure what you mean by Euro handguards, forgive my ignorance.

pretty much any handguards will work. As for the UF if you dont like it you could easily find someone to trade you a nice fixed stock Ak for it.

Note that the Bugarian AK-74 wood hanguards are a little short, if you care about aesthetics.

yeah but they will probably be a tad loose since the chinese use a thicker receiver. Pretty much any handguard other than they Yugos will work.
