A litle over two weeks ago I posted about some minor problems with a new SSR-85C2 I had purchased.  2 weeks after sending the rifle back to Armory USA/Global Trades to get my mag catch axis fixed, the rifle is back.  They did a great job fixing the mag catch axis, replaced my shephards crook, replaced my lower front handguard because it was loose (which I did not ask them to do), and claim to have straigtened out my front sight support (which seemed straight to me and was something I had not asked them to fix).  The shipping took the longest and Armory USA only had the rifle for a few days.  They also did not charge me anything, not even for shipping, all to make it right.  I just wanted to let you all know what great customer service I received from them.  It was a pleasant experience.  Thank you Armory USA!

Thanks for the awsome review of their service- I imagine others on here feel more confident owning Armory rifles.

That is good to know considering I am waiting for the same rifle to arrive from Atlantic. The irony of this is that I also have a SAM7 A1 that has recently cracked a bolt carrier and the garbage finish has completely burnt off the barrel. When I called Arsenal three days ago, the British guy that answered the phone said his Manager was out and would call me right back. That was three days ago. I have had less problems with my Romanian SAR 1 then with my SAM7 A1. To say the least, I will not be buying any Arsenal Inc products EVER AGAIN.

It is to bad that someone even has to send one back.I know of so many that were sent back and got a refund on.There always seems like there is just something wrong with most of their rifles and most are not happy with all the little problems that add up.

I hear you.

But it's nice to know about good customer service.

As a new AK guy myself. You sometimes buy some zingers.

good customer service isn't always out there with all these new "sellers/gunsmiths".

IMHO If it's small parts(assembly), and not major stuff(horrible riveting, and ugh...spot welds for rivets) then I'm game.

Im glad to see that global did you right, also im NOT surprised that arsenal didnt call you back, you will be waiting a long time to hear from them ,you might as well call them back.I went through the same thing with arsenal trying to get to fix someting. But mine was only cosmetic(sight post was all the way to the right to shoot dead on).I also think though their ak's are nice, arsenal kind of comes off as their SH*T doesnt stink.Just my 2 cents

I also got the "my boss is not here"story when I called Arsenal. No return phone call, and no response to e-mails. I guess they are too busy to get back with customers?

They do make some badass guns though.

So typical of gun vendors.  Almost evryone is a total dirt bag it seems.  Was at a fun show couple of weeks ago and found a nice new norinco 7.62x39 underfolder for 850.  Looked on the barrel and it was a 5.54, I told him this was not 7.62.  He replied with "I cant read well".

Good to hear you had good service with Global, they need some good reviews.  I had one hell of a time.
