About 6-months ago I ordered on of these folding metal stock sets from Andre (Ruseller on GunBroker.com): A couple weeks ago it arrived at my door. The complete kit. As advertised. I'm happy. I understood the obsticles involved in the shippment of these things, so I planned on a year for delivery. It may be years before I put my AK together anyway. I contacted Andre at one point and he was right there with an answer, and seemed to have all the details on my stuff. Impressive service. |

Yeah, I was told 8-10 weeks also for my AK100 series folding stocks, but it took closer to 6 months. If you are not a patien person, DO NOT ORDER FROM RUSELLER! I can't say that enough. What he delivers takes time and alot of jumping through hoops, so just forget about your order and in 6 months you will get a big surprise. |

I ordered a complete AK-100 stock set and an extra AK100 mounting hardware set from Andrei (eBay items #7176941295 and #7176941426) back in August 2005 and to date, I haven't received anything. I emailed Andrei around December 2005 and he stated that the Plastic AK-100 stock minus the hardware was sent out on November 21, 2005 and that it's still in the mail. I've emailed Andrei several times since with the last time on April 02, informing him that I still haven't received the item(s) yet, which he stated that he'll check into it. Since then, I haven't received an update or a reply to the status of my order. When I placed this order, I knew that I would have to wait awhile... Which isn't a problem as long as I receive the parts. Andrei, if you're reading this, I believe that you're a "stand-up" guy trying to the right thing!! That's complete and utter horseshit. "Quite the gamble" insinuates that a large number of people that have ordered from Andrei haven't gotten their stuff, when, the reality is, 99.9% of people that have ordered have gotten their stuff. As discussed in other threads, some of the stuff is coming from overseas, and as it touches multiple countries and multiple handling services, not all of it shows up. At his own expense, Andrei has ALWAYS been on the ball about shipping out a replacement part so that people get their stuff - something that, quite honestly, doesn't even happen that often, when you compare it to the number of successful transactions that the guy has completed. |
