Does anyone know if the Century build (DC Industies) Yugo M70's slanted break is silver soldered on?  If not, is it a left or right hand thread?

That means you turn the brake clockwise to loosen it?

Not, left. and they dont fit right, get some sort of tool to help twist it off while pressing down the pin.

They are not soldered on.  Make sure you are turning it the correct direction which is "righty loosey, lefty tighty" since the threads are left handed, or in simple terms are reversed to what most Americans are used to.  Use a pin punch of something to hold down the detent if your fingernail is not tough enough.

It should be very easy to remove unless someone screwed it in too far, you are not derpessing the detent,  or you are turning it the wrong way.  In the even it is stuck, some penetrating oil and a good grip with a glove should do the trick.

So the Century barrels are threaded right hand threads
