i have a mak90 that i have a choate stock, ultimak mount, and an american made red dot on do these count for 3 pieces of 922r compliance? what other items can i easily install to make full compliance?
I know the red dot isn't a part.
No. The MAK-90 does not need compliance parts with a choate stock as that is a thumbhole.
The 922(r) parts compliance has been covered repeatedly.
On an AK the parts most likely used are
US parts usually used for compliance:
front handguards (count as one 1)
fire control group / trigger, hammer, sear(disconnector) (3)
stamped takes 5 or 6 depending on muzzle attachment
milled takes 4 without 5 with muzzle attachment
The 16 countable parts of an AK rifle. No more than 10 of these parts may be imported
(4) Muzzle attachments(flash hiders, brakes, barrel extensions, barrel nuts)
(6) Bolt carrier
(7) Gas piston
(12) Pistol grip
(13) Forearm handguards
(14) Magazine body
The underlined parts are the most commonly available U.S. manufactured parts.
