Burt Reynolds starred in a movie that was filmed not far from where JOHNO lives ... "Squeal like a Pig" or something like that was the name of the movie ... It's a good lesson in "Going both Ways" ....

No, I told people that if they were under the impression that their membership fees bought them special consideration they were mistaken, and that while Team contributions were appreciated, they were not the income source that keeps the board growing and running... that comes from advertisers. We've hashed this to death and I'm not going there again. However, kindly do not put words in my mouth. I hope the new site proves to be everything you hope it will be. |

Doesn't really hurt at all... I do hope the new site works out well and you guys have the site you desire. Life is too short and stressful to get stressed over your downtime. |

If it works, cool! But until about a year ago this site did not even have a separate place for AK stuff in EE, and things went pretty well overall. Don't take the fact that I will be offline for half this month as any sort of political statement. It's just a pair of road trips. |
LOL... my first banning... pity it wasn't from someplace a little more prestigious. I mean... I don't even get bragging rights about being banned from a Bailey board. |

Guys please be civil in regards to all of this. I recently was made aware of this move after KFs posting of his unhappyness with things here. While he has decided to move on, I will be taking a much more active role in correcting any issues felt on the AK side to ensure they are not forgotten or ignored. People are free to come and go as they please and I wish KF the very best of luck. He's a great guy and I'm sorry for failing him and many of you. |

Juan, Thank you for understanding that it was time for me to move on. I will always speak of AR15.COM in the highest regard. I owe you and your family a debt of gratitude and will never forget what you did for all of us years ago. You are welcome to drop-in anytime my friend. Hiram, you were not banned. Your account was turned off. You said a few things that did not sit well with your fellow Team Members and they don't care to have you follow at the present time. Krink I just find it hysterical that people are leaving here because they think it is oppressive, but to my knowledge nobody has ever been banned simply for disagreeing with people. Correct me if I'm wrong please. So what you are saying is you will exclude people and censor non-CoC violating postings because the gang doesn't like it? I made a few posts on your board, can you point to anything that was less then complimentary to your endeavor or was a violation of your CoC? Doubt you can. Good luck with your board. |

Hiram, You didn't violate any rules of our forum. Quite a few of the founding members were upset with your comments here in regards to the requests they made.... Don't dwell on the past. Research the threads in question and work it out with those guys one-on-one. When this is done then I'm sure they will welcome you. In the meantime, if you are sincere about the darkside, you will step up to the plate and make great things happen here. You won't find better people than The Avilas, and I know they will provide the resources you require to make it happen. Take care, Troy |

I'm sorry Krink... I don't think I said anything wrong. I think a lot of folks chose to read into what I said and many of them mischaracterized what I said. I expect no apology from them for that, nor will I offer one for believing what I believe and voicing it. If they can't handle people disagreeing with them, well I hope that is something they can develop in time. If the grass is greener on the other side, I hope they find happiness and I wish you much success. You guys truly are knowledgeable and your experience and insight will be missed.
