I am curious about the origin of the term Krinkov which refers to a certain type of ak.  What does this word mean? All of the other AK subsets are generally based on nationality, but this one seems to cross national lines (Bulgarian and Russian).  Thanks.

It's a corrupted version of the word that Afghanistan natives called the AKS-74U during the 1980s.

FWIW, I used the term w/ a Ukranian soldier I met in the sand box (he carried one) - He never heard of it. He said they called it "suka" aka little bitch.
