I've got a parkerized Vector underfolder that I have been thinking about refinishing with molyresin. Has anyone done one of these? Does the molyresin adhere to the parkerizing ok? I have done a couple of SAR's with the molyresin, but not a parkerized gun.

Also, what color would be the best to use? I've got enough socom black to do it, but I would like something with a little more "shine."

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

ETA: What a maroon!! There are about 3 posts on the front page that answer my whole freakin' post. Satin black gunkote over the park sounds like the ticket.

Moly Resin is great stuff.  Tough as nails and solvents won't touch it.  It should work great over park... just be sure to degrease your underfolder really well before applying the MolyResin though.  I like the black semi-gloss Moly Resin myself.
