Back in early November I ordered a stamped receiver Yugo kit from Centerfire.  They were out at the time but were expecting a new shipment "any day now."  I ordered a "hand select" unit, but didn't know what to expect based on some of the reviews that I have read.

Got it today and I was pleasantly suprised.  All matching numbers, outstanding wood (stock and forearm) and the barrel looks decent.

How are the DCI receivers to build on?

the DCI receiver is great! hope this isn't your first. I had to make a few supplemental tool to go with my home made plinckers jig to make it happen. Very little adjustment required if you knoe what your doing. Good luck with your build
. hope you get an ok gun from centerfire.       R1150R

You can do a "hand select" optino at Centerfire?  Do you have to call them to do that?

I think the handselect is like $175 with non handselect at $135 or something close

I got two at around $155 each (hand select) early last year.  Perfect bluing and mirror bright bores.  The only problem is that it's a coin toss on what they send you.  If you don't like it, send it back and wish for better.  ETA the DCI receivers are great.

I ordered a handselect SA-85 as soon as they came in and got a beater.  A couple months later pics showed up of great kits from them.  Too late for me.  At least my M70 builds were perfect.

I just built two of their kits on DCI's receivers and they went together well and work (shoot) GREAT!

I paid $10 more for the hand select.  The total invoice was around $103 with shipping.  I was really impressed the most with the wood.  I specifically asked for one with good wood, and well, they sent me one.  No scratches or carvings, only a couple of small dents.  I don't know if this was unusual, but I got a decent kit for the money.

Thanks also for the info on the receivers and the pictures.  If I were photo savy I would send in a picture of the kit.
