Santa Claus came early today.  My Wife ordered it for Christmas and I was the one who answered the door.  She wanted to wrap it but I told her The USPS already did a good job of wrapping it for her.  huge

no real point in polishing the whole thing but if thats your cup of tea.....

I'd just polish the underside of the hook(s) and the top side of the hammer.

I thought the point of getting a G2 is to avoid having to polish the old FCG?

You might want to pop that in and try it before you polish it, there isn't too much room for "over" polishing with a G2 ...
