I need a very cheap siderail scope mount or Optic that attaches to one. Its for a SAR-2 that I am giving to my wife for XMAS. Will probably put a BSA or NCstar red dot on it.

Any ideas...

Your best bet is to check out www.Ebay.com. Theres always cheap shit floating around there. I think theres also a few listed in the EE. I have a China brand 10-40x50 illuminated scope with a 6" sun shade if your interested the things only about 2 feet long and would make a great sniper rifle combo.

that scope & mount from cdnn really has my attention.  is that quality/functional stuff or just $50 down the toilet?  looking for 'good enough to get the job done' quality, not 'best in class' quality.
