I am looking to make a clone of a Romanian AK74 out of my SAR2,that last thing I need to get the look is a wire type side folder.I would like to get an actual Romanian sidefolder,but I will settle for an German one also.Do these sidefolders simply screw on like the fixed wooded stock? Last question does anyone know of a good,TRUSTED source to get either side folder. I have the romanian FSB and brake,front furniture is on the way,and the angled bolt carrier jus need the side folder and it will be ready for the refinish!

Angled Bolt carrier?? Got a pic? I've never seen one before. I'm not sure where to get a side folder... I had to get mine of the EE. usually you can get the best deal on one there.. the Side folder mounts with some machine screws in the standard fixed stock trunion.. If you have a choice go with the lever type folder release instead of the push button folder release.. It just seems to work better IMO. You better post pics when you get it together!
