I'm in the same boat and still shopping for a nice christmas present for myself (I think the SVD santa claus maybe calling  ) I think I just may have to 'offically' kick out those two hunting rifles and 1 shotgun. They just don't belong in that safe at all  ...and if that doesn't do it a FAL will be sacrificed. Damn! and that was a 30+ gun safe! ps. they lie about the dimensions. |

The only thing that has "saved" me the last couple of months is the fact that I need to spend my discretionary income on my Daughter's Christmas. I don't think it would go over well with my Daughter if she got AK parts and accessories instead of her expected goodies. |

Don't forget dude...I'm stll lurking here.  I had to build a damn 17 x 24 room!!! And it's getting full, too........... 22 AK's, 15 Mosins, 39 SKSs, 24 Misc other rifles(mausers, fal, ar15s, svt, rasheed, etc), 10 MAKAROV/TOKs, 85 AK mags, 22 Bayonets, bags,.........etc..........

Ive seen that pic before MrKrink, i thought it was a gunstore because they are on a rack type shelf, and some still have tags on them. Thats awesome its your collection! But, what i want to know is, what goes on behind that wall? I can see a light behind the pegboard with the uzi, MP5, and Mac are. *cough*Machine guns *cough* |

The tags are my ID tags (model, country, etc). I built the racks because they don't make safes to hold 100+ guns, at least that I want to spend "gun money" on. So I made an underground "vault" It's totally in the ground with no outside access and a steel "vault" door with electronic locks, cameras, and security system. My shop can be seen atwww.ActionShooterz.com The "hidden" room is the back half of my basment, I just divided the room in half and haven't finished the other side.

I just have to say one thing..... I Hate you all!!!!!! Give them to me!!! Just kidding. They look great, and the basement turned into a gun safe is awesome. For a kid my age, I guess I'm doing pretty well with several of many assorted types. I've got a cheapo 8 gun safe (paid $40 at the scratch and dent sale) with I think 11 in it (some of Mom and Dad's are in there for safe-keeping) and a 7-gun cabinet I bought at a garage sale (also for $40). I also have a few floating around with me at college. Not bad for being a 24yr old student without ever having a "real" job. |
Not bad for a college student, but having a real job usually means more money going out for other things - house, investments, KIDS, Wifes/girlfriends or both ..just shittin ya - College = Booze or guns / booze or guns
