| I have a low cap WASR10. This weekend I'm going to cut out the mag well and make it high cap. Does this mean I must add the 5 needed compliance parts? Or does adding the pistol grip make it need 5 compliance parts? As of now I don't believe it has any. Being new to Ak's maybe I'm just retarded and it has them already. |
| I doubt it will have compliance parts as a low capacity, but check the FCG for a "C" on them. These will indicated Century, and thus US parts. Opening up the mag well will make it necessary to install compliance parts, I believe. I did it with my Maadi, and it was hard since my stock set didn't show up for a couple months, after I had opened the mag well. So I just left it in pieces until I got the stock together. Now it is 100% compliant. If someone knows any different about when compliance parts are needed, please jump in now. |
