FA's were treated in law like semiautos and the import bans died. I'd go broke buying surplus AKM's at $20 a pop. Would you?

I doubt, due to the insane demand after that, you could get even a broken one for $20.

Why would they be $20? You cant even buy a Jennings for that.

Probably more like $50. Figure if we can get a romy kit for 90 bucks, and thats after someone takes the time to take the FCG out of it and cut the receiver up. If they could just import them in crates, they'd be cheap as hell!

They're arent as many jennings in 3rd world countries as AK47's either. If their were no restrictions, even at current market they would be like 50 bucks. After awhile, when surplus russian and chinese rifles show up, they probably would be $20

I think he's talking about the complete rifle, not the kit.

Doubt it would be that cheap.

The standard price on the world market for an AK is anywhere from $25 on up, depending on price, condition, etc.. I doubt they would be get any cheaper then kits.. Might actually be more, as increased shipping costs, storage requirements, etc.
