You don't have to look too hard to find someone who will spout off telling you all about their  bad experience with ANY vendor, no matter which vendor.  No vendor is unscathed, either having earned it or as the result of unrealistic expectations from a customer.

Seems if people have a good experience, they will tell 1 person about it.  If the experience is bad, they will tell 5.

Off my soapbox, now to answer your question. CFS is good to deal with.

I guess the law of averages have been hell with me concerning CFS. Of the last 4-5 kits bought, I have had dark bores, crack buttstocks and crack handguards and that is even with hand pics for 2 of them.

I've had great experiences and "WTF DID THEY SEND ME?" experiences.  Their customer service is average or better than average, so in the end you should be a happy customer.  They won't rip you off.  Shipping is fast too, which is always a plus.

One thing to keep an eye on- I was charged an extra $276 on my $150 order due to a computer glitch ordering online this year. No receipt, it just showed up on my CC statement. Other than that, good to go. I will only order over the phone from them now, though.

CFS has the best prices, and you will get what you paid for.  I prefer to go elsewhere.  For example, I wouldnt trade several crap shoot CFS Yugos for the one like new Yugo I got from Bocefus.
