Slab Side from JoeKen > AK Discussions

Anyone buy any of the slab sides from JoeKen? I want one and they seem to be the best price on them. What do you guys think?

Joeking has been out of the slabsides for at least 2 months, and still show them in stock on their website. Talk about deceptive advertising....

That's just SOP for Joken. Advertise what you don't have, take the money for orders, then when you have enough customers lined up, order em in. In a couple months.

They came from the PLO shipment last year, so will be parkerized.. Kind of ugly..

Just like how many other companies? FAC, SportsMansGuide, GlobalTrades, K-VAR(though they update better than others). See if you can get anything from Global Trades that is on their website.

Just like how many other companies? FAC, SportsMansGuide, GlobalTrades, K-VAR(though they update better than others). See if you can get anything from Global Trades that is on their website.

Come on man, have you ever ordered from Joekin? I admit I was taken by them by ordering a high dollar item while they sat on my money at the same time I was paying the interest. How can you compare the other companies to them? I ordered a receiver from Global and got it lickety split. It sounds as if you've never ordered from Joe(Ponzi Scheme)Ken.

BTW, I haven't heard anything recently about the "alleged" fraud investigation by the Winslow PD on them. Is it still going on?

The response was to the statement of deceptive advertising, all the companies I have listed have had numerous items on their websites for long periods of time which are never in stock (K-VAR and Sportsmansguide at least make updates) I could post a link to Global Trades forum where they mention they have just about noting on their website. I have ordered from Global Trades where they told me everything was in stock, instead nothing was in stock and the wrong items were to be sent. I have bought from Joeken and had no problems.

BTW, I haven't heard anything recently about the "alleged" fraud investigation by the Winslow PD on them. Is it still going on?

The person didn't work there, it was the web designer and he was arrested. It was posted here with links to the newspaper account and booking info months ago

They tell me it will be ready
to ship as soon as they receive it.....
TOMORROW!
That would be the fifth tomorrow
and counting in as many weeks!!
I placed my order on the 9th of Sept.

Wow! I'm shocked... Joeken has such a wonderful reputation around here (sarcasm)! Word of advice, don't ever buy anything from him, ever. If you really want a Ewbanks receiver, buy it from DPH Arms.

Amazingly I received a Fedex tracking number
from them today, It's not in the Fedex system but
I expect it will be on Wednesday and I may even
see it at my FFLs on Friday!!!
59 days so far.

Remember, FedEX users can send out a shipping PreAlert that provides a tracking number and projected delivery date. When you go to track it, no dice. Call them and they blame it on the vendor not delivering the product to them for shipment. Florida Gun Works is a master at this.

Someone with more world wide web knowledge than I should make a website about how shitty JoeKen is. It should be titled "JoeKen Sucks" or something or another so that when people try to google JoeKen they see that website and save themselves a headache and some $.
