While firing my Bulgy AK-74 the Disconnect in my RSA FCG broke right in half @ the trigger pin hole!![]() Any of you heard of this happening I have 3 other RSA FCG's that I have shot the Sh*t out of with no problems!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I received te new complete FCG last week! FREE Replacement!! Thanks Ken..., you're Awesome!! |
I have the G2 and there's no slack. It's like a hair trigger though. (2 lb trigger pull!) |

I read the e-mail this morning. All of our triggers have a life time warrenty. If it breaks we replace it free no questions asked. Just send us what address to ship it to. 3 years ago we had a problem with the discons being heat treated. It was a small batch of just the discons. The discon has been redesigned along with the trigger to prevent this from ever happing again. That is why we send you an entire trigger for replacement as the old trigger is not compatiable with new system. Bottom line if it breaks we replace it FOREVER. Ken RSA |

Ken emailed me back right away early this morning for my mailing address. He is sending out a new complete trigger group!! As always...., Ken comes through and backs his product 100% I will be putting a RSA FGC in my new Bulgy Krink build with out a doubt!! As I stated before, I currently have RSA's in 3 other AK's and have had several others in the past without a single problem!! Thanks Ken!!!! RU4FREEDOM --- out |
Really??? I must have had bad ones..., cause miy G2's had more slack than a $2 whore!! |
LOL Where was this slack? I'm curious because I installed a Tapco G2 into my Vepr K, replacing the FSE/Robinson 2-stage trigger. The 2-stage trigger was just really crappy to use, it felt so much like the Glock trigger. The G2 was very tight, none of the FCG pieces shift around in their positions. Did you make sure to use the sleeve for the trigger pin? The Disconnector pivots/rotates around this sleeve. There will be a LOT of slop if you leave out this sleeve. |
By "slack" I am refuring to the trigger "travel" My G2's must have had 3/8"+ travel in the trigger before the hammer dropped! It felt more like a double action revolver trigger than a rifle!! And yes the sleeve was installed properly!! |

Wow, that sounds like my Vepr's standard 2-stage trigger and my Glock trigger... The Gordon G2 fixed that and turned it into an AR-15-like singlestage "hair" trigger. It's so crisp that basically as soon as you start to pull the trigger, the hammer is already released before you know it. I have not tried it at the range yet but I have a good feeling it will help me tighten the groupings (no anticipating the recoil). According to Tapco, this is normal (2lb pull, almost like a hair trigger). |
Yeah, that's standard G2 - Long, smooth pull with an uncertain break. I actually prefer the 2 stage FSE, but they're hard to find.
Not to be the grandpa around here, but have you checked that for safety? I check all my rifles by pointing them in a safe direction on SAFE and smacking them with a block of wood. If it goes off, it aint safe. |

I have my RSA's adjusted @ approx 3# single stage pull with little to no pre & over travel! I have filed the saftey lever so that when engaged there is zero trigger movement!! You can beat on it all you want..., the bolt carrier will move but the rifle won't fire with or without the safety on!! Works for me!! |

I received the new complete FCG last week! FREE Warranty Replacemnet as advertised!! Thanks Ken..., you're Awesome!! There are a lot of companies out there that could really learn from your business ethics!! As long as there are AK's...., I will be pulling on RSA's to squirt my lead hoses!!
