What is the most effective muzzle break for the AK 47 out of the traditional AK style flash hiders and breaks? Effective not the coolest looking. RPK, Krink, AK74, Slant which one works the best.
Also I would like one that does not spit the flame of the blast downward but up or to the sides or do they even make one like that? Thanks for any info.

I ordered me a slant. I wanted something that was not long and pushed the gas upwards not down or in all directions. Thanks for your help and info though I do appreciate it.

As far as I know, the most effective break would be the 74 style. However it would mean replaceing your FSB with a threaded one, and this would be more expensive than just having your barrel threaded I would think. Personally on AKMs I think the slant brake looks the best. YMMV
