I just dropped my G2 in my maadi and it holds the bolt open, the hammer holds the carrier. I know that bolt hold open was discussed at length here but I'm wondering if the G2 was done by design, anyone know ???

most likely what you are experanceing is the spring pressure of the hammer holding the bolt carrier at bay. If you bump it will if slam forward?? This is normal........... WarDawg

Yeah, I know that whats happening and it just takes a slap to send it into battery. I was just wondering if they did this on purpose or if it's just a side effect from the angle of the trigger hook, which is what I figure it is ...
