I've got a MAK-90 that sounds a lot like that one.  The bayo lug is still there but the 'wings' were ground off at an angle.  The muzzle nut was ?brazed on with two blobs of metal that were eliminated with 10 sec of mr dremel.  Stupid thumbhole stock was replaced easily with a regular stock.  Mine is marked MAK90 on the left side.  Shoots nice, but kindof vanilla.

I wonder how they got those muzzle nuts' "permanent" attachment past ATF?  I doubt they would consider an M92 with an extended brake attached that way as permanent.

$350 to $400

I had a chance to buy one for $300 at a gunshow, with thumbhole stock.  Why I didn't buy it, please don't ask.  I went back for possible purchase and it was gone.  Turns out a year later, a dealer here in town I know pulled it out of his gun safe when I randomly brought up the story.  He paid $275 out the door.
