[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need sling advice

I am looking for some kind of "tactical" sling to use with my AK. I do not want the standard military type and I do not know what else is out there for the AK. Is there any single point types out there, if so what kind of mount is needed?

Basically, any help would be appreciated.

This is what I use.
sling system
I dont use the traingle attatchments, I strap it right into the sling attatchments that are there the front is kinda tight to get in but holds good.

Big plus 1 on the Specter Gear stuff. I have used them for years, back when they were CQB Solutions.

Very well thought out, very well made stuff.

That spector sling is just a basic 3 point tactical sling. Look on AR15 side and you'll find a forum for building one yourself. I put one together for one of my ARs for about $7.00 with shipping and handling. Works great and you can make it exactly like you want it.

Only mod you may have to make from the AR15 plans is to find a clip that will hook up to the front sling hook. A HK type attachment would probably work fine.

You can make any sling "tactical" with $.50 worth of paracord. I use a 50s era Garand sling on mine.

I've got the K-Var one its three posistion its a little tight i sugesst if you are a samller person like me to get one but if you are any bigger than 5' 8" then get the spector one.
