I haven't tried mine, but what's the issue?

Too loose, or too tight, or what?

All my Waffle mags did not fit my Vector the way I wanted them to fit. They are very tight. I just took a Bastard file to the sides some and made them fit. It does not take much to make them work .IF you need help[ let us know. Is there a circle logo on the bottom of the mag with a number inside it? IF so they are great mags.

OK, I just tried 10 of the 20 that I bought, and they fit great.

A couple of them were a bit snug, and took a little bit more force to fit into the mag well, but other than that, they're all good.

I seem to remember that a lot of people commented that the Bulgarian waffles were tighter than the steel mags - would make sense that the plastic mags are a bit "over-molded".

I also seem to remember similiar issues with my earlier batch of waffles that I bought a year or two ago.

If I remember correctly, the solution was to take a file or a dremel, and tweak the sides of the magwell just a hair.

Don't send them back.  If you can't or don't want to fit them to your rifle some one here would buy them from you.

Yes they are the real ones .... I think I'll just send them back !!!! Don't want to mess up the mags, then I can't send them back .

Also they do not lock up good in the back , it dont make the "click" sound .

+1 They are my favorite mags....the regular steel ones seem too loose in my WASR10, but the Bulgarian mags were too large...I just took a file to them and made em fit...they fit in real nice, but they are a little hard to take out (i just need to pull harder...but I love the look and they fit SNUG....

Well if you want to use them filing the plastic down will not harm them there is a shitload of extra plastic on them. Hell I had to file on my Chicom drum to get it to fit my Vector. Ak mags are so rough in finish in the first place you cant even tell I did in filing to them. Well do what you want with them.LOL They do look good.

Force them in/jam them in - you're going to be hard pressed to hurt the mag or the rifle.

If the mags won't fit in either rifle, I hate to be a dick, but it sounds like you're doing something wrong.

I just went and tested the other 10 mags in a MAK-90, and had zero issues.

I bought this one and another used and they were still very snug to fit. I had load, remove, load remove
while watching a movie to get them to go in smooth and finally click. Used mind you.

The 7.62 Bulgarian synthetics, as well as the 5.45's, are a little thick to fit the receivers of a lot of AK's.  I've found that you have spend some time hooking the front of them in, then repeatedly pushing the rear back up into the reciever, in almost a rocking motion.  You pretty much have to force them.  It took me several days, but then they eventually began to wear down till they fit.  Now, they're still tighter than the steel mags, but they fit snug and click in without much effort... just the way I prefer them.

Yes, when low cap guns are brought in and converted to hicaps, many times they aren't opened wide enough. Dollars to doughnuts the mags are fine.

The mags are fine... it's the magwell opening on the SAR / WASR guns that is bad.

Dremel or file the magwell out a little and take off those little sharp tits on the back of the magwell
right by the mag latch.  They have kind of a semicircular look to one side of them.
This is from the circular cutter they use to open them up to fit the high cap mags.

Grind that baby off and open up the magwell just a touch and they will be fine.

File a little, test fit often.

If you don't want them ill give $8.00 each for those defective mags...

Mine started to show a little metal after inserting and removing them a couple times, so its normal enough i wouldnt worry about it. If a LOT of metal is showing, maybe paint it or something.

Like others have said, waffles fit tight. This was actually one of their biggest selling points back when they were readily available, because they got rid of mag wobble for some people.

I used to have to open up the SAR-1 magwells when they wanted to use the Bulgy Waffles.

Maybe it's a difference in the mould, or some other variation in them i cant account for.

You might check them dimensionally against the ones that do fit the SAR, and try to find out
what the difference really is.
