Is there a web site that has a list or explains what interchanges.  IE which barrels and trunnions from which countries do and don't work togher.  Same for FSB's and GB's.   I'm wondering what countries Romy barrels/trunnion interchange with.

I've used the info from that tech sheet and so far it's been accurate ...

I looked at that site.  I has a lot of good info but it doesn't talk about barrel threads.  Would a Yugo barrel screw into a saiga or romy trunnion for example?  That is the interchangability that I am wondering about.

screw????? you only screw in barrels on milled receivers, stamped receivers they are pressed and then pinned in, but the diameter of the trunnion vs. barrel is still valid

There are some additional specs on Pookie's site that you may find useful.

Kevin thanks.   So it looks like the Saigs trunnion would have to be enlarged to fit a standard AK 47 barrel?

1gunner you got me.  I was typing not thinking.  I'm glad you know what I meant.

The barrel would have to be turned to fit the trunnion, wouldn't it??? I don't think you want to try to enlarge the trunnion ...
